Mayor Tony Picklesimer

Tony Picklesimer has been a resident of Chelsea for over 15 years. He and his wife Cindy moved here from Sylacauga, Alabama, where he owned Picklesimer and Limbaugh Ford-Mercury for 14 years. They have 2 sons and daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren. He and Cindy live in Chelsea Park where his parents and brother and sister-in-law also live.

Tony and Cindy are active in Liberty Baptist Church where Tony serves as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Tony enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf, but most of all, spoiling his grandchildren.

Tony was appointed to complete the term of Colonel John Ritchie and was  elected to the City Council for 2 terms, one of which he served as Mayor Pro-Tempore. He was elected in October of 2016 and serves as Chelsea's second Mayor in its 25 year history as a city.
