Arthur Fisher


Arthur Fisher, Jr. is the Public Policy Manager for Grenergy Renewables USA. In this role, he is responsible for monitoring and analyzing policy issues/developments that affect the renewable energy sector nationwide while providing strategic advice to senior company executives on these matters. He also develops and executes policy positions and government affairs strategy, working with the Development team to prioritize federal, state, and local efforts.

In 2015, Fisher graduated from Southern University (Baton Rouge, LA) with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. In 2020, he earned an MBA from Samford University. Fisher previously worked as an Electrical Engineer for two Fortune 500 companies and as a Financial and Operational Analyst for a Fortune 1000 company.

Fisher serves on the Board of Trustees at McWane Science Center, two boards at Samford University, and multiple Junior Boards, including Vulcan Park and Museum, Birmingham Education Foundation, and Alabama Possible. He also serves as the External Affairs Manager for the Rotaract Club of Birmingham. He previously served as the President of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) – Birmingham Professionals Chapter. In 2022, Fisher was appointed by the City Council of Chelsea, AL to serve on the Planning Commission.

Originally from Opelousas, LA, Fisher and his wife, Jacy, reside in Chelsea, AL.
